It’s been quite a while since I’ve released the last update for Article Submission Helper so it’s about time I release one. There’s a lot to be improved on, and I haven’t done everything I wanted, but getting there.
The new version includes these important new features:
- Ability to remove directories from the list
- A filter for your custom directories so they don’t get lost anymore
- Updated list of directories
The update link will be sent to subscribers as usual.
Happy 2010!
Great tool, love it so far.
Some extra ideas for you
- keep track of which directories articles were submitted to, and which submissions failed
- retry button or something for failed submissions
- allow editing of the article in a seperate window or larger area
Forums so people can share new directories etc.
i wish there were more categories (like real estate perhaps?).. but just the same this has been a terrific tool for me.. thank you so much
Another idea, why don’t u make it like open source code, it will help the development of this script to such extent that all other paid stuff will become history long enough, also there will be article sites which will come up based on this script in the long run, for sure. Top it all u will get your due, you will remain in full control of the development, as open source means it is all approved by the head of the panel before it is released.
Just an idea, i can join and give directions if you need it, i have even support staff who can work on it.
Would love a shared resource for additional directories others have created.
Update/Delete to a few article sites that are dead/hacked
Thanks!!
Hi V,
Thanks for the suggestions.
The Delete button is already there though, you can delete any site you want.
Great tool! I use it more and more and It has helped me a lot!
One thing I couldn’t figured so far : how exactly can I add custom directories? I see there are a lot of fields including article title, body, etc. This is kinda confusing since I imagined that custom works kinda in the same way that the others do : I add the necessary links and then, when I need to add an article, the soft will login, extract a spun version of my article and post it.
Could you, please, create a video or edit the online manual to contain more details about adding our own directories?
Also, the idea with having a forum is great. This tool, I’m absolutely sure, will be used by many since it’s SOO good!
Thank you once again for this great software!
Florentina
Hi Florentina,
Custom directories work like others but first you have to add them to the db, that’s what you see in the editor. You have to map all form submission fields for the submitter to work.
I’ll see what I can do to clarify the manual.
Please, how can i restore the directory that has been move to thrash
Yes – there’s “Trash” in the dropdown menu above the list of directories. From there you can click “Restore” to add a directory back to the main list.
Hi there this is the best article submitting software i have found so far!!!! excellent program. everything works as i want, but just have one problem:
when i submit custom directories 90% of the time it ‘doesnt work’ as in AS Helper will not fill in the fields that i want automatically. i have to actually go up and copy and paste. I have had one out of ten work so far. is it something im doing wrong or something with the program. Please Help. Thanks
Hi,
That likely means you’ve entered the wrong field values. I would like to make it easier to add directories and I hope I will. But for now you have to pay extra attention when adding them and make sure to find the correct field names in the html.
Hi,
Can we use html codes in the article text and signature box such as mydomain
Heard great value about ASHelper so I am really keen to give it a go
Yes, you definitely can. But that depends on directories. All of them allow html for links in signature, but not all of them allow html in article body. So it’s best to keep your links in the signature.
Hi,
I’ve been using ASHelper for a while and it had been great.
It used to save all articles that I submitted so that I can easily access it whenever I launch ASHelper.
However, today when I launch ASHelper, I noticed that all my articles saved are gone. Is there anyway to restore it?
Hi,
ASHelper stores all user data in My Documents. Have you delete something from there?
little confused about placed xml file and auto registeration can you give link of video that explains about it, please
No videos yet sorry. You shouldn’t have to mess with xml, the rest is in http://www.articlesubmissionhelper.com/online-manual/
